Gulliver On The Island of Lilliput
Vibert painted this large painting in 1870 which was one of his "Fantasy Subjects" taken from the book by Swift.
It was exhibited at the renowned Salon of Paris where it attracted large crowds and was one of his paintings which many art critics found very humorous .
